About the event
A chance for students, families or anyone interested in a career change to learn more about the Apprenticeship Program. Earn money while you learn! As an apprentice, you receive a salary from the employer that hires you. This salary increases as each stage of the program is successfully completed. Once a potential apprentice and an employer decide to enter into an apprenticeship agreement, an application package is completed, signed and submitted to the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency.
We will have businesses in the room, looking to hire apprentices now or in the future. Have a chat with them and see if this might be a fit for you.
Gina Walsh, Industry Training Consultant with the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency will give be there to answer any questions on the program and how it works for anyone interested in the trades.
