Each team curled three games, enjoyed a delicious lunch supplied by Two Chefs Restaurant and Tufford Foods, and the supper hour was festive with Pizza from Pizza Delight, followed by the presentation of the awards, two hours of musical entertainment by the Cusacks and to finish off the day Joudrey's Music Services provided music for dancing. All in all a full day. All teams were presented with a goody bag on registration. Special thanks to Susan Cochrane and the folks at Pharmasave for provided reuseable bags for us to use.
A special thanks goes to the organizing committee who worked long and hard to make this a success. Again, pictures will be posted in the next few days so check back to see some of the candid shots taken by Verne Lunan, owner of Mosiac Business Consulting. Verne also make the day especially special for the winning teams by sponsoring trophies and medals for the first, second and third place teams. Thanks.

News from the Chamber
It looks like the Bridgewater and Area Chamber of Commerce will have the opportunity to host the Annual meeting of the Nova Scotia Chambers of Commerce in 2009. It's still a way off but what an exciting opportunity for our area. We will be attracting visitors from throughout Nova Scotia and there may even be events scheduled that will mean participation from throughout Atlantic Canada.
Member Opinions
One of our members expressed concern about the condition of the sidewalk in front of the Parkade on King Street. The mild days we had a week or so ago helped the situation and for a few days the sidewalk was clear and useable...BUT with the recent snow it was once again snow packed and hazardous. The question is "Why is it possible to clear the snow so thoroughly on the side of the street in front of the businesses but on the side where the customers have to walk the job is less than stellar?" Comments please.
